I called this company as an elderly lady I support has no hot water or central heating. The lady herself had attempted to call Fenn gas (this is the number that is attached to her boiler) and became confused when she was advised they are unable to do jobs in Harrogate. I called them on her behalf. I was told that Fenn had indeed installed this lady's boiler some 6/7 years ago, however since then she has become somewhat of a nuisance. I was informed that as well as Fenn she also calls British gas (as an elderly, confused lady this doesn't sound too odd) and that this meant Fenn lose out on the call out charge. I was also told that as this lady has mental health issues, it's uncomfortable when she talks about strange things and the company is therefore not willing to 'put themselves in that situation' by continuing to maintain her heating system. Compassion? None. Discrimination? Plenty.
